Better late than never, we wanted to share our experience at the 2023 New Orleans Oddities and Curiosities Expo.
Thankfully, we were able to escape the Big Easy without a ticket, citation, or summons - for once!
NOLA treated us great, and it was great to be back. Props to our hosts Mary and Rich who made sure we didn’t miss our chance to spend time in the Honey Swamp doing to tour, and who served as our escort to the infamous New Orleans institution Domilise’s Po-Boy and Bar. We did our best to recreate the scene from one of the greatest movies filmed in NOLA: Hellbaby! (video link)
The show was great and the big hit was our NEON ZOMBIEHEADS! These electrifying pieces were glowing with otherworldly hues and emanating a toxic allure the crowd in NOLA couldn’t resist! Stock on these is very low at the moment, and didn’t sell at the expo is available in the online shop
This year’s booth babe was none other than the explicit, enigmatic, and esoteric Babette Bombshell, smack dab in the middle of her Curse of the Weredeer press tour. Sure, she wasn’t advertised to be appearing at the ZombieHead booth, but that didn’t stop a number of her fans shyly whispering requests for an autograph. Good thing she brought her 8 x 10s!
Before we left town, we made sure to restock the best shop in the Quarter, Royal Street Stones! They carry a large assortment of ZombieHead Earrings and Necklaces, along with selection of Eyeball Bolos. Please please please, check out this great shop in the heart of the Quarter as they support local and global artists!
